TRON Announces Its MainNet Upgrade To v3.6 Soon.

In line with a recent official ‘web-blog post‘ published by ‘Tron Foundation’, the mainnet ‘Odyssey ’for the blockchain-based platform TRON, will be upgraded to v3.6 soon.

The TRON network aims to be a platform for making entertainment-based DApps. As added within the post, developers can develop DApps on both the [TRON] protocol along with the [Tron Virtual Machine].

Odyssey v3.6 can reportedly contain new options designed to develop DApp creation easier, along with offering network protection from the bad actors. According to the report, goals for the update enclosed the following:

“Implement a more advanced  lightweight built-in event server, providing convenience for DApp developers to customise their own event service once they choose to turn-on this feature. Enhance protocol information check to forestall malicious data on the chain”.

This update additionally features some routine enhancements to other areas of the ‘blockchain‘, like improved security and stability.

The post also outlined that the TRON public chain will perform tens of thousands of TPS [Transactions Per Second]. In line with its ‘web-site‘, [TRON] consistently performs about 2,000 TPS, dwarfing a supposed Ethereum [ETH] network TPS of 25 & a Bitcoin [BTC] network TPS of 3-6.

As ‘reported‘ earlier, Tron’s chief executive officer ‘Justin Sun’ advertised Odyssey v3.1 as having superior speed to Bitcoin [BTC] & Ethereum [ETH]. Sun declared his projections on Twitter, adding:

“TRON will be 200x times more faster than ETH, 100x much cheaper vs. EOS. dApp developers & users, this one is for you!”
