Nasdaq-traded Mogo, a renowned virtual payments/fintech firm, revealed that it bought about 146 Ethereum [ETH, +7.46%] at a mean price of $2,780 USD as a part of its new plan to allocate up to 5% of its cash and investment portfolio in crypto assets.
Mogo outlined that it’s already purchased about 18 bitcoins so far in open market transactions at a mean price of $33,083 USD.
Yesterday, the worth of Ethereum crossed $3k for the primary time ever and set an all-time high record of $3,204.06 USD earlier today on Monday. In recent trading, the second-largest cryptocurrency was changing hands at $3,146.91 USD, up 7.85% within the past 24 hours. Year-to-date ETH is up 324%.
