Floki Inu To Feature On The Shirts & Stadium Of League-Leading S.S.C. Napoli.

The Floki Inu emblem will be placed on the back of the football team’s shirt and on LED signage at the team’s home stadium as part of the sponsorship arrangement with S.S.C. Napoli.

S.S.C. Napoli has negotiated a sponsorship arrangement with the team behind the Floki Inu (FLOKI) token, which was inspired by Elon Musk’s pet dog of the same name.

S.S.C Napoli is one of Italy’s most prominent professional teams, having been formed in 1926. The historic club, captained by the late world football legend Diego Maradona, won their first Serie A title in 1987 and is presently in first place in the league for the 2021–2022 season.

The Floki Inu emblem, representing a Shiba Inu dog wearing a Viking helmet, will be shown on the back of Napoli’s jerseys and across LED signs around the team’s home stadium for the remainder of the current season, according to a Tuesday release from S.S.C. Napoli.

Napoli has joined the Floki Inu’s roster of associated football teams, which already includes the Kerala Blasters of the Indian Super League and Cádiz of the Spanish La Liga. Floki Inu looks to be on the same path as major crypto exchange FTX, which in 2021 has actively sought up various popular athletic collaborations.

Napoli has not stated whether the sponsorship is a multi-year agreement or how much Floki Inu paid for it.

Since late September, the Floki team has been working on a “big marketing push,” with the project claiming to have set aside $1.5 million for advertising efforts. Floki Inu has targeted London as a major destination, with its logo appearing on public transportation in the city, but the adverts have been contentious, drawing the attention of the Advertising Standards Authority, the UK’s advertising watchdog (ASA).

The Ethereum-based currency was released in June of this year, and according to Etherscan, there are about 49,461 FLOKI hodlers, with a fully diluted market valuation of $1.8 billion.
