As per a released statement issued by BitPay on December 20th, the Atlanta-based firm has teamed with fiat-to-crypto onramps supplier Simplex to allow fee-free crypto purchases on its wallet app for consumers in the United States.
The collaboration eliminates the requirement to use a bitcoin exchange to fund one’s wallet.
BitPay Wallet customers may buy a variety of digital currencies using Apple Pay, Google Pay, and BitPay’s debit card.
According to Simplex CEO Nimrod Lehavi, the collaboration would decrease the obstacle to the entrance for consumers new to cryptocurrency by enabling users to immerse their feet into the market without incurring any expenses.

Simplex was purchased by Nuvei, a Canadian payments startup, for $250 million previously this year.
Nuvei stated last week that it will introduce crypto-focused debit cards throughout the European Union and the United Kingdom.
